When I first put this game in the GameCube, the first thing I noticed were the graphics. It is no wonder why it was awarded best graphics at E3. Fox McCloud's hairs look nearly real, and the water effects are amazing.

This starts off with the fox, Krystal, chasing after General Scales' ship after she receives a distress call. Later, the Star Fox team becomes under your control.

The controls of this game are easy to learn and are quick to react. Fighting is easy, all you have to do is tap the A button several times. Although when you need an item really fast, you have to move the C-Stick to select it while the game is still in play.

Star Fox fans might be disappointed with Fox's new attitude, and the lack of levels in the Arming.

I found Fox's 'tude to be rather annoying and not like he was made out to be. He has a frustrated "lets kill everyone" type deal about him. He has a rather talented voice actor, awesome powerful music, and realistic sound effects; however.

Finally, the story seems to be a bit too similar to the past adventure games, and lacked creativity. Instead of putting a big bad guy bent on killing Fox, they dropped in a unique villain that knows nothing of Fox; but still wants to rule.

Without the classic villains, Star Wolf and Andross, this game seems to be more like its' own separate game than a sequel.

"Definitely a buyer!"
