The game Spider Man follows closely with the movie, adding some new scenes, and having several classic villians. Spider Man features an ariel combat system that is unique, and fun to mess around with. While it has many shining features, the game seems to slightly lack the fun factor but remains captivating the whole way through. In several ways the fun factor is brought down, mostly because the slow controls and mediocer fighting engine, which could have been improved. The ariel combat system picks up what the crawling around left behind. The ariel levels are a blast, full of intricate bosses that you have to chase around in the sky and on buildings. Crawling on walls is stiff, with the camera angle messing up on most levels as you climb on walls. Sometimes Spidey just won't go where you want him to go, while freaks hunt you down in your attempt to hide in the shadows. The sound is good, the voice acting feature Tobey Miguire as Spider Man. Spider Man is full of cheasy, yet funny one liners as he taunts the scum of the city. All is good with the exception of the annoying, loud, and frivilous lines from the thugs you beat the crud out of. The story from the movie is put into the game, with the Green Goblin as the main villian, but many other villians show up in the game. The Shocker, the Volture, the Scorpian, ( where's Venom and Carnage) and what not are featured in this game to make it longer and more interesting. Along with events from the movie, Spider Man adds some more scenes on the same story line, but not in the movie. Dude, does it rock? In many ways it does rock, and it doesn't. If you want it straight forward, this is probably worth your time. "Ariel combat is the best part!" -Niloc
