Update for Tuesday, April 15, 2003

Reid Ackerman · April 15, 2003

They are talking about a spin off movie on Wolverine though Bryan Singer and Hugh Jackman know nothing about it. I think that might be a bad idea but whatever. Bucket Reviews has some new X2 pictures. In one of them Nightcrawler looks like a chipmunk. but anyway if you want to see the full gallery go to: http://superherohype.com/cgi bin/imageFolio.cgi?direct=X Men/X2/Movie_Stills

Word is that there will be a Punisher teaser trailer attached to The Hulk. It won't be one of those stupid teaser trailers like T3: Rise of the Machines. It will actually see the Punisher kicking some serious butt. Lots of shooting action. If you have no clue who the Punisher is I've including some pictures on the left. Once again, click to see the enlarged versions.

Bucket Reviews now has two movie posters from the upcoming film Scary Movie 3. If you couldn't tell already one is a spoof on Signs and the other is a spoof on The Ring. I started cracking up when I first saw these posters and I hope that you will also. Click on the posters to see the enlarged versions.

Who does not think that Pirates of the Caribbean is going to be Awesome movie. A great cast not to mention the CGI looks amazing. Well I have the new poster up for it. As I figured it looks incredible. here is also a link to the official site where you can watch the new long trailer: http://disney.go.com/disneypictures/pirates/ Here is also some pictures/art of the pirates from the movie. We have a new Hulk picture yeahoooo. He is coming out of the trees/forest. He looks a lot bigger than I remember him though. Oh Well! Click to Enlarge!

What comes to mind when you think of the scariest movie ever? THE EXORCIST. They have made god knows how many. Now they are making a prequel which will go through Father Merrin's 20-century visit to Africa. When he is there as a younger priest he will have his first but certainly not the last meeting with Satan. Warner Bros. will be doing this film and it will be directed by Paul Schrader. It will be releasing July 18, 2003

I personally loved the first Barbershop movie and the best part is that now they are making a sequel. Ice Cube will be in this one again. So will Cedric the entertainer, but the other cast is not confirmed yet. All we know is that Queen Latifah is going to own and manage a beauty shop.

It is confirmed that there will be a Mask 2. A sequel to the 1994 hit staring Jim Carey. Jim Carey though will not be in it. Taking his place will be Jamie Kennedy. This film will be called Son of the Mask. Not much word on it but I will inform you with anymore updates.

Yes another James Bond Movie. No official plot has been set but we know that Pierce Brosnan will be back as Bond. We can only guess that the plot will be some weird evil guy trying to do evil stuff and Bond has to stop him or the world will be damned. The Distributor will be MGM.

Its confirmed that Director Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings) will be directing the new King Kong movie. They will probably try to do like what they did with the Godzilla movie made in 2000. It is set for December of 2005. This movie could be great or sucky. We will just have to wait and see.

Iron Man: The Movie - This film is set to be released in 2005/2006. So it is pretty far off. Like all of the other marvel films, Marvel Entertainment is going to be one of the production companies. Nicolas Cage and Tom Cruise both are interested in playing Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron man. Rumors are though that Nicolas Cage will be playing Ghost Rider. Weird

Jurassic Park 4 - We will be seeing CGI dinosaurs in this movie. Not a lot has been said and no plot has been announced. Come on though it's a JP movie people are likely to get eaten. There is also a weird rumor that the dinosaurs will talk in this one. I don't believe it for a second, but who knows. They are aiming for a 2004 production and a 2005 release. Wait a minute is this the plot: "12 years after the first movie, John Hammond's dinosaurs have apparently become urban legend. Most of the public has become skeptical they ever existed. Part of the plot involves the discovery of previously unidentified lizard-like animals showing up on mainland Costa Rica and conflicting with the locals (killing them?). To find out what the heck is going on, a team of experts chart an expedition to one of the off-shore islands. They find out the dinosaurs are thriving and breeding at an uncontrollable rate, so much so that it poses a threat to the nearby continent. They must find a way to curb the spread of the 'dinos or face an ecological disaster." (Cinematic Happenings Under Development)
