Many people think of this game, as well as Rouge Leader, as a rehash. I despise that word. I don't believe in rehashes. If so much as one pixel is different between the game and it's predecessor, it's not a rehash to me. If anything, this game is not a rehash of Super Smash Bros. It has new characters, plenty more, completely different levels, enhanced graphics, different modes, an objective, unlike the first, different moves and button combinations. The thing that I first noticed about this game was the music. Son of a monkey this game has good music. It uses many of the same toons, if not all of them, but it is enhanced by what seems like a whole orchestra. Praise Koji Kondo, one of the best video game sound composers in the world! Let me tell you, this game has got game. Listen Danny, this game has got awesome music, whether you like video game music or not. The graphics are also a strong point. With how crazy this action gets and how fast it is, the developers keep it smooth and clear. The backgrounds are detailed and seem like they are all in 3-D. The controls are quite similar to the original, but you can use the C-Stick in multi-player to unleash attacks. If you have a favorite character in the first game, chances are they will have different moves. The fun factor is great unless you don't have three buddies or siblings to play with. Single player can get repetetive even with the added adventure mode. Actually, adventure mode gets old the quickest. The object of the game is to collect trophies. Some trophies unlock levels and extras, and you can earn them through adventure mode and the lottery. Is it worth my time if I don't have anyone else to play with? I must say yes. When I say that it may get old, that is only to some people. I am still playing single player to this day. "Not a rehash, it's just plain better than the first!" -Niloc
