I really don't like this game. I like the N64 version ten times better. It could have been a little bit more fun if not for the controls. I remember reading an issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly when Gamecube came out, and a staff member named Chris Johnston (I think) was making fun of his fellow employees because they blamed the controls whenever they lost at WaveRace, and he would always win. Sorry Chris, but I am also one who, may I say, dislikes intensely! Along with the controls, this WaveRace also had levels that seemed to cramped up and you didn't get enough freedom to move around. This is a strong warning to calestrophobics, the width of the level mapping in this video game is too small and may cause shock. See a doctor before playing. I may be over exaggerating, but not by much. Small courses, a small selection of riders and courses, make this a terrifying, yet interesting experience. Don't take that as a good thing. I heard WaveRace getting praised for it's water effects, but I was not amused. I was dissapointed. Aside from this game's technical features and what not, I found it amusing once around. Is it worth my money? No. "(shudder)" -Niloc
